Kind Pantry by CAP
Kind Pantry offers plant based foods to low income people in our community.  Our volunteer food outreach is a labor of love and respect for people, animals and our environment.  When we say we care about people, then naturally we want the best for them.  At Kind Pantry we like to offer foods that are nutritious and will benefit people’s health without contributing to the unnecessary and cruel animal abuse inflicted upon land and sea animals in today’s food industry.  Healthful kind food can be obtained without harming other living beings.

Kind Pantry supports environmental stewardship.  Growing plant foods is a more sustainable approach to feeding people.  An animal based diet waste and pollutes water [1] damages air quality [2], and contributes to climate change. [3]  A recent study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences reported the following: if all animal-based food production in the United States were replaced by nutritionally equivalent plant-based crops, the country could feed an additional 350 million people (which is more than the total US population).

Kind Food Drives

Kind Pantry Food Drives are always appreciated! We encourage businesses, churches and groups to help us by having healthful plant based food drives. Vegan food drives help the low income, extend compassion towards other living beings and help promote environmental stewardship. Please contact us if you would like to have a Kind Pantry Food Drive. Our Vegan Food Drives Brochure shows many foods that can be donated to help keep our food outreach programs running.
